One of Ian’s clients, the Advertising Principles Group, said “There’s something uncanny in what Ian is able to achieve for people and their organisations. Using a kind of sixth, one might say ‘uncommon’ sense he cuts straight to the very essence of its problems and establishes some real heart and soul, before unleashing a positive energy throughout the company. This can achieve truly remarkable results.”

Before starting his own consultancy, Fenway in 1985, Ian was the marketing director for Games Workshop an international leisure company, based in London. He is also an international speaker at conferences and  events, works closely with the DTI on promoting and developing overseas trade and is a visiting senior lecturer for the Institute of Directors creating and delivering courses on both their Diploma and Masters programmes.

He has just completed several strategy and brand communications projects for a £250m family-owned food group, a £1bn division of Merrill Lynch in London, the Jersey Post office and a $200m software and licensing company in Vancouver, as well as orchestrating the sale of a £30m UK company to a French multinational. He is also the creator of The Director’s Club, a forum for over 400 owner managers of small-to-medium sized enterprises to gain support, networking, learning and personal development.
